Passed Exam 70-452

I took and passed the Microsoft exam 70-452: Designing a Business Intelligence Infrastructure Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008.  This completes my requirements for the certification Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Certifications for Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

It is a good test with some great questions.  No more questions that required memorization of the minutiae of Business Intelligence.  And there was only a single question I would consider a “reading” question.

I posted some advice last week on taking exams.  Check it out if you are even the tiniest bit interested.

    Hi there;
    I passed microsoft exam 70-448 early this week. I am planning to take the exam 70-452. I want to know how different are these 2 exams, and how much more knowledge I need to have to pass exam 70-452 compared to 70-448? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks..

      For the most part the two test cover the same core information.  The primary difference beween the two exams is that the 70-448 is focused on the test taker identifying the correct task for the question where the 70-452 is focused on the test taker selecting the correct solution.  I would focus on reviewing the same technologies and sources that you used for the 70-448 but keep in mind capabilities and how the technologies fit together into solutions.

    Hi Diano;
    I can't remember the exact number of questions, but I think there were around 50 questions, which must be answered in 3 hours and a half. (You can check the exact number of questions in this exam's page in Microsoft website). There were only multiple choice questions: the questions are not scenario based, and are all independent of each other. There is no simulator, and you have to read each question and choose the best matching choice provided.
    Hope this can help you..

    As far as I remember, there were not much multiple answer questions. I'm not sure, cause I took the exam last May.
    You can check the official page for this exam on Microsoft's website. You'll find useful information there..
